We're Moving!

Luke and I will be moving to a new apartment in Lakeside, CA on Father's Day weekend! After over 30 hours of phone calls and more than 800 miles spent in the car checking out potentials, we've finally found and secured a new place to live! We're moving into a 880sqft. 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with a garage and 1 permited space. There are plenty of parking spaces, but guests will need to obtain temporary permits (easily done). The new place does not have a rec room or exercise room like our current one, but it does have a very nice pool area and a very close laundry room! YEAH! We are very excited about the move. It will be strange to have "so much space." We are hoping to retain our current phone number as it will be the same area code. On a more general note:

Sunday, May 15th, Luke and I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon visiting with Aunt Kathy, Uncle Spence, Cousins Kevin & Kim and their 3 children, as well as Grandma Judy and Grandpa Bob, when Kathy and Spence invited us to come see their new boat/yacht (?). We had a great time and hope to see everyone again soon!

This last weekend Mark and Lori Carlson came to San Diego and we had a great time shopping, getting massages, going for hikes with Jerry and Katie, and just generally enjoying each other's company. It was a rare weekend of leisure and it was a time for celebrating Luke's recent birthday (May 24th) on which he turned 25!

May 25th I had another monthly visit to the midwife and we've scheduled our next ultrasound for the 20th of June! Be sure to visit thebabyjournal.blogspot.com for further details.
